We have 2 open positions in our laboratory.

We are looking for dynamic and enthusiastic individuals with the desire to learn the latest in gene array methodology and carry out research projects under the supervision of Dr. Marcia R. Saban.



RESEARCH ASSISTANT I
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Preference will be given to candidates with a BS degree in Biochemistry or Molecular Biology (Although other areas will also be accepted)
  2. One year of experience in a laboratory setting

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Team -player
  2. To be organized. Excellent skills in maintaining book keeping, ordering supplies, and maintaining animal colony
  3. Minimum of two years of commitment

RESEARCH ASSISTANT II
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in biological science or a related filed and 24 months of research specialty experience

DISTINCTIVE CHARACTERISTICS:
  • At least 2 years experience with classical molecular biology techniques (extracting RNA, determining the quality of RNA, northern and western blotting)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Team-player
  2. To be able to supervise graduate students as well medical students working in the laboratory
  3. To be organized. Excellent skills in maintaining book keeping, ordering supplies, and maintaining animal colony
  4. Minimum of two years of commitment
