7. Plasma estrogen becomes high enough to become a positive feedback signal to the anterior pituitary so more LH and FSH are released in response to GnRH. GnRH release may also be enhanced.
Remember: Low plasma concentration of estrogen is a negative feedback signal to the anterior pituitary while high concentration for a day or two is a positive feedback signal.
